Brooke MuellerBrooke Mueller is set to appear in court in Los Angeles today in relation to "inconsistencies" about her drug treatment.

The 36-year-old socialite, who lost custody of her and Charlie Sheen's four-year-old twins, Max and Bob, in May after she was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold in hospital before she agreed to return to rehab, was due to get her sons back before the end of the year but the plans are now on ice because officials have received new information suggesting she didn't tell them the whole truth about her treatment.

"Information has been given to the Department of Children and Family Services regarding Brooke's treatment that contradicts what she had told social workers. Naturally, the information has to be fully investigated given that Brooke has been to rehab more than 20 times and there are two minor children involved," a source said.

The boys are currently being cared for by Brooke's brother, Scott Mueller, but were previously being looked after by Charlie's other ex-wife Denise Richards. The new information will be formally submitted to the judge overseeing the case on Thursday and the source revealed if it substantiated as true, it would be "absolutely shocking."

Ben StillerBen Stiller once had a female stalker.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty actor was left terrified by a bizarre encounter with an over-zealous fan who pretended to be a journalist in order to get closer to her Hollywood idol:

"I once had a strange, stalker-type woman. This was about 10 years ago. She showed up in our production office wanting to say hi, and I thought that was that. But then she showed up again, two weeks later, at a press conference, and she'd somehow got hold of a press badge. It was crazy. I felt like I was in Basic Instinct. She ended up not killing me though, so that's good."

Ben is a secret sci-fi nerd and is obsessed with cult show Star Trek, admitting one of his most prized possessions is headpiece with Spock's pointy Vulcan ears. When asked who is the most difficult person to buy Christmas presents for is, Ben joked, "Probably me. I like silly things, such as Star Trek memorabilia. For my birthday this year, my wife got me a fan guide from a 1975 Star Trek convention. That's exciting to me. I have Spock's ears at home too. I do not wear them around the house, because that would break down the foam latex. They're too delicate and precious to actually be worn."

Selena Gomez and Justin BieberSelena Gomez and Justin Bieber could be neighbors.

The "Come and Get It" star is set for an awkward run-in with her ex-boyfriend as she reportedly "fell in love" with a property situated within the same gated-community as the "Boyfriend" singer and insiders claim she is close to making an offer on the home. The 21-year-old pop beauty is eyeing a mansion in an exclusive neighborhood in Calabasas, Los Angeles, which is also home to Kourtney Kardashian and Will Smith and his family.

"Selena is very close to making an offer on a house inside the Calabasas development where Justin lives. She looked at other neighborhoods, but really fell in love with a home near Justin's," a source told Life & Style.

The report follows Justin's admission that the pair are no longer speaking to each other, after revealing his latest track "All That Matters" was written in Selena's honor during their two year relationship. Speaking to Los Angles based radio station Power 106, Justin, 19, confessed, "[The break up] affected us, especially when we are in front of so many people. It's such a public thing. It's just hard for the both of us. But you know, she's a great woman. I love her till this day. I think we're going to be the greatest of friends. Right now we're taking a little time and not talking."

Meryl StreepMeryl Streep doesn't think she's the "most wonderful thing in the world."

While the 64-year-old star is one of the most celebrated actresses in Hollywood - with three Oscars under her belt - she admits she doesn't buy into the hype and credits her children with keeping her feet on the ground. "When I'm not acting I don't have any sort of belief that I'm the most wonderful thing in the world. I have four children who remind me of this regularly! I'm under no illusions about my limitations as a human being," Meryl - who has four grown-up children, Henry, Mamie, Grace and Louisa - said.

The actress plays Violet Weston, an addict mother who has strained relations with her long-suffering children, in August: Osage County, and she admits she struggled with the role as she is so devoted to her kids Henry, 34, Mamie, 30, Grace, 27, and Louisa, 22. When quizzed if her children have seen her portrayal of a bad mother, Meryl said, "They haven't seen it yet except my youngest and she said, 'Mom, everybody is going to hate you but you're so good in this.' I realized it's worth risking everything to go to a place where you'll be loathed."

That's actually the truth. Josh BrolinJosh Brolin has been spotted with a new mystery woman.

The Gangster Squad star, who recently checked out of rehab in Northern California after a three-week stay, was spotted looking healthy and happy as he ran errands with an unidentified female in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The 47-year-old actor, who sought treatment just weeks after allegedly getting into a drunken fist fight at a pub, dressed down for the outing in dark jeans and sunglasses, according to UsMagazine.com. Josh's divorce from Diane Lane, whom he split from in February after eight years of marriage, was finalized around the same time he entered rehab.

But a friend brushed off speculation his drinking problem was related to the breakdown of his marriage and said, "He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety." Another source previously insisted the former couple were still friends, adding, "It was a mutual decision. It is very amicable. It's not ugly, it's just over."

Pippa Middleton and Nico JacksonPippa Middleton is reportedly engaged.

The party planner - who is the sister of Britain's Duchess Catherine, the wife of Prince William - was surprised by a "romantic and grand" proposal from boyfriend Nico Jackson during their vacation to the luxury Oberi Amarvilas resort in India earlier this month.

"It was exactly how he planned it. Very romantic and grand," a source said.

The couple - who have been dating for 15 months - have been celebrating their good news in private and are looking forward to a family Christmas before heading off on another trip, skiing in the Alps.

It was previously claimed that Pippa, 30, and Nico, 36, plan to marry in Scotland. "A wedding in London would never compare to her sister Kate's of course, and the prospect of erecting a marquee at her parents' house in Bucklebury for a party after the wedding service would be too low-key for her tastes these days," an insider said.

Ryan Gosling and Eva MendesEva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are reportedly on a break.

The couple who have been dating for two years after meeting on the set of The Place Beyond The Pines, are reportedly "re-evaluating" their romance as they realized they weren't ready to tie the knot. "There was a realization before Thanksgiving that they took things way too fast and were rushing toward a marriage that neither of them particularly needed. They've decided to take a break to re-evaluate their romance," a source said.

Eva, 39, is said to be committed to their relationship and is even thinking about starting a family with the Hollywood hunk but he isn't as keen. "The real question is how Eva is going to figure into Ryan's plans. Eva wanted to have his babies," the insider added.

Ryan, 33, and Eva's relationship has been rumored to have been on the rocks since they took a brief break six months ago to contemplate their future together and friends are predicting they'll split soon. "He can be moody, and she's insecure. She sees a text from a mystery number and assumes he's talking to other girls. I wouldn't be surprised if they split for good soon," a source previously said.

James McAvoyJames McAvoy's father and half-brother appeared in court on drug dealing charges yesterday.

The Scottish star's estranged dad James McAvoy senior, 55, and half-sibling Donald, 24, were arrested earlier this month and accused with selling cocaine out of their flat in Drumchapel, Glasgow. Both James senior and Donald appeared before a judge at Glasgow Sheriff Court, where they made no plea, according to Scotland's Daily Record newspaper, and were released on bail. The pair will return to court at a later date.

Filth actor James has been estranged from his father, who split from his mother Elizabeth when he was just seven, since childhood. The star's dad moved on with Donald's mother, Mary McKinnon, but the half-siblings have never met. James senior previously claimed his son cut off contact with him after he moved in with Donald's mother Mary. "I think James still had hopes of me and his mum sorting things out. He started refusing to see me because he didn't like Mary. In the end I took a step back rather than upset him," he said.

Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen's manager and lawyer have quit.

The Anger Management star's long-time team of advisors, including his manager, Mark Burg, entertainment lawyer, Jake Bloom, and publicist, Larry Solters, resigned from their posts last week, as he has stopped listening to their advice.

"The bottom line was that Mark, Larry and Jake were unable to work effectively for Charlie. He is too much of a loose cannon at the moment with his increasingly erratic and bizarre behavior and outrageous statements. He was refusing to listen to their advice and counsel," a source said.

But an insider close to the 48-year-old actor, who lashed out at his ex-wife Denise Richards in recent days for allegedly preventing him from seeing their daughters Sam, nine, and Lola, eight, over the Christmas holidays, insisted he terminated his team. "They didn't resign, they were all fired," the insider said.
